Ellijay’s Little Italian- Street Food, Pizza, and Ice Cream Bar

Food was so good especially the apple sammy, I ordered the small Caesar salad also and at first I thought it may need more dressing but first bite had me thinking otherwise!

We accidentally came here, we came over to go to the tavern next door but they had such a long wait and we were starving. Soooo glad we came in, the food was great! We were here on a girls trip so we got different stuff & shared, it was all delicious. Grilled cheese, pasta salad, white pizza, calzone, cheese sticks, salad was all great! I only wish y’all had coke products rather than pepsi lol

We stumbled upon this restaurant during a mountain getaway and it was the best part of our trip! The food was absolutely amazing, the portion sizes are enormous, and the service is top notch. Our food was hot, freshly made Italian perfection And I can't forget about the desserts, they were phenomenal! This is truly a hidden gem and I recommend everyone trying this restaurant, I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

I am gonna be as honest as I can about this place - as I always am...not trying to say anything negative about the decor...I’ve walked by here a number of times before we bought a place in town - and I’ve always thought to myself “ no way this place can be great “ - unfortunately I was judging it by its simple decor and a “ pizza by the slice “ vibe. Boy, was I wrong. There are two different stations where one can order - one is for pizza - the other is for “ Italian street food “... we went for street food. The little counter in the back is where you order - the young lady that took our order looked like she could be on a runway in Paris - apart from dressing like she is on the run way - typical understated Georgia folk - while providing the hospitality experience that you’d expect from a Four Seasons...she didn’t mean to be that good at her job - she simply cared for her guests and her job - that’s incredibly rare to find in our business. I had a group of 5 and we kind of got a little bit of everything...between the Italian sausage and the meatballs, and whatever else others got - it was beyond stunning. The price point seemed silly to me - because I know how much work goes into a scratch kitchen, and how low their profit margin must be for the dishes they serve - they did not seem to care - they just wanted to serve great food. Final verdict is they do amazing food - they have incredible staff - and most importantly - they do it all out of love for the community and the industry. 9 freaking stars out of 5! Great little pizza place. We found it while traveling. It was the only one that we found that would take our carry out order by phone after 6pm on a Sunday. We parked around the corner and began walking towards the restaurant. As we rounded the corner we immediately noticed a very distinct aroma that can only be described as that authentic Italian pizzeria smell that you don't find that often. We followed the smell and were happy to find that it was from where we had ordered from. We ordered a Neapolitan Pizza, a Cheese Pizza, and cheesy bread sticks. These were the best pizzas I have had so far this year.

We’ve passed this place for years, but it was recommended by some of the locals. It did not disappoint! How have we missed eating at this restaurant? I had the mushroom and cheese calzone. My wife had the pesto spaghetti. Huge portions and excellent taste. The calzone is undoubtedly in my top 3 that I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked with cheesy goodness. Don’t miss this one. Hands down the “Best Italian” in this area. We are HUGE fans.

Delicious - even the crust! We had a medium with pepperoni and ham. Everything looks and smells so good.

Oh My Gosh good!! Hubby had his pizza made with a pesto base and said it was the best he ever had! Mine was red sauce mushrooms and pepperoni and extra cheese. Cheese was so stringy and perfect. Definitely a great choice when in Ellijay!
